EtherMail has integrated its wallet-verified email service into Telegram, allowing the messaging app’s more than one billion users to earn EMT tokens for reading authenticated messages.
The integration introduces a “read-to-earn” model where users receive cryptocurrency rewards for engaging with verified communications from Web3 projects, DAOs, and crypto protocols directly within Telegram.
Through this partnership, Telegram users will gain direct access to a secure, wallet-linked inbox, providing a seamless way to send and receive verified communications within the app.
The integration introduces a “Read2Earn” model, rewarding users with EMT tokens for engaging with verified messages — a feature that has already attracted attention across the Web3 community.
“Web3 communication has been fragmented for too long — projects send messages into the void, and users are left overwhelmed by irrelevant noise,” said Gerald Heydenreich, Founder and President of EtherMail.
“Telegram is where the Web3 community lives — now it’s also where verified wallet communication happens. With this integration, we’re bringing trust, precision, and value together under one roof.”
The EtherMail Read2Earn integration aims to redefine digital engagement by combining blockchain verification with the scale and accessibility of Telegram’s user base.
EtherMail Read2Earn tokenizes marketing and user engagement
At the core of the new integration lies EtherMail Read2Earn’s approach to tokenizing on-chain verified messages. Projects, DAOs, and Telegram-based crypto protocols can now reach audiences through campaigns that are authenticated and incentivized.
Users earn EMT tokens when they open, read, or interact with these messages — a model designed to align marketing incentives with user participation.
“Telegram is where the Web3 community lives — now it’s also where verified wallet communication happens,” Heydenreich emphasized, highlighting the synergy between the two platforms.
This setup creates a new category of targeted marketing campaigns. Messages can link directly to governance proposals, NFT drops, or airdrops — all within a secure and verified framework. Each interaction remains synchronized within the EtherMail Read2Earn ecosystem, ensuring that users control which promotional content they engage with.
By embedding Read2Earn mechanics, EtherMail enhances transparency in digital marketing, moving away from intrusive ads toward consensual engagement. The integration also extends EtherMail’s existing model of verified communication to Telegram’s vast and active crypto community.
Linking Telegram profiles to the EtherMail Read2Earn wallet
Users can connect their Telegram accounts with EtherMail Read2Earn through the EtherMail desktop or mobile app. This allows existing wallet holders to receive verified messages or create a new wallet during registration.
Each email interaction earns EMT tokens, which remain live within the ecosystem despite recent price declines — currently trading at $0.001746.
Previously, Telegram relied primarily on the TON blockchain and its native TON token. The EtherMail integration introduces a parallel Web3 infrastructure, leveraging its own EMT token for reward distribution while maintaining compatibility with Ethereum-based systems.
The integration signals a strategic shift for Telegram, whose crypto ecosystem has historically centered on group communications and informal marketing. By merging with EtherMail Read2Earn, the platform now enables a structured, verified, and reward-driven communication layer, reducing exposure to scams and unverified content.
Building trust and scalability in Web3 communication
With more than 49 million connected wallets and 2.7 million verified users, EtherMail’s model of “consensual marketing” continues to gain momentum. Its collaboration with Telegram adds a new level of scalability and mainstream adoption to decentralized communication.
Backed by Tim Draper’s Draper Associates and Greenfield Capital, EtherMail has raised over $7 million through funding rounds and token sales. The company positions EtherMail Read2Earn as a pioneering bridge between traditional Web2 messaging and blockchain-verified Web3 interactions.
This integration not only strengthens user control over data but also opens new opportunities for brands and communities to connect with audiences through transparent, incentive-driven campaigns.
As Web3 matures, EtherMail Read2Earn could play a crucial role in defining the next generation of verified digital communication — one where engagement is both authentic and rewarding.
