The AI16Z token swap has officially gained Binance’s support marking a major rebranding and infrastructure upgrade to ELIZAOS. The transition as part of Binance’s Alpha 2.0 initiative reinforces the exchange’s drive toward building scalable AI powered blockchain systems that bridge innovation across multiple networks.
Binance announced that the AI16Z token swap will take effect beginning Nov. 6, as the AI16Z asset evolves into ELIZAOS a new token designed to expand interoperability for AI based decentralized applications. The upgrade is seen as a cornerstone of Binance’s strategy to empower developers working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and blockchain.
According to the Oct. 31 announcement, Binance Alpha and Binance Futures will jointly oversee the AI16Z token swap and redenomination process. Trading for AI16Z will pause at 10:00 UTC on Nov. 6, to allow the swap and system updates.
All AI16Z tokens held within Binance Alpha 2.0 accounts will be automatically converted to ELIZAOS at a 1:6 ratio, with trading for the new token resuming at 02:00 UTC on Nov. 7. Binance reminded users to complete all AI16Z token swap deposits before the suspension noting that AI16Z will no longer be supported once the process concludes.
On the futures side, all AI16ZUSDT perpetual contracts will be settled and closed automatically at 09:00 UTC on Nov. 6. New positions will be blocked starting at 08:30 UTC with the contract scheduled for removal after settlement. During the final hour the Futures Insurance Fund will not provide support for liquidations.
After the AI16Z token swap, the total supply of ELIZAOS will expand from 6.6 billion to 11 billion tokens while the circulating supply will rise to 7.4 billion. More details regarding token distribution and future use cases will be announced separately.
The original AI16Z token powered Auto.fun an autonomous AI agent platform focused on intelligent automation and decentralized AI models. Through the AI16Z token swap, the project is rebranding to ELIZAOS inspired by the pioneering 1960s ELIZA chatbot signaling a leap toward more advanced generative AI technologies.
