The Ripple accelerator program has launched an Asia-Pacific expansion, partnering with global fintech incubator Tenity to invest $200,000 in early-stage blockchain startups across Singapore.
Targeting AI-powered dApps, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, and institutional DeFi on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), the initiative aims to position the region as a hub for next-generation blockchain innovation.
Set to kick off in September 2025, the hybrid program will combine funding, mentorship, and immersive labs to accelerate XRPL adoption, with Ripple’s APAC lead calling it a ‘game-changer for scalable blockchain solutions.’
The goal? To empower visionary founders to build disruptive technologies on XRPL.
“This accelerator will help cultivate a new generation of talent and unlock scalable use cases on the XRPL,” said Fiona Murray, Managing Director of APAC at Ripple. “It’s a key step in solidifying Singapore as a global center for blockchain innovation.”
The Ripple accelerator program isn’t just a funding play — it’s a focused innovation engine. The 12-week initiative zeroes in on the convergence of blockchain and artificial intelligence, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, and institutional-grade decentralized finance (DeFi).
Participants will receive up to $200,000 in non-equity funding, alongside expert mentorship in token design, investor readiness, product strategy, and go-to-market planning.
The timing is no accident. Singapore has become a blockchain powerhouse, hosting over 300 cryptocurrency companies and attracting $750 million in crypto funding over the past year alone.
With its pro-crypto stance and robust regulatory clarity, the city-state offers fertile ground for Ripple’s accelerator ambitions.
The Ripple accelerator program benefits from Ripple’s longstanding collaboration with Tenity, a global fintech incubator with a track record of launching high-impact startups.
The program culminates in a high-stakes Demo Day, where participants pitch to Ripple’s global ecosystem of partners, VCs, and investors.
“This is more than an accelerator — it’s a launchpad for game-changing ideas to scale globally,” noted Jonas Thurig, Managing Partner at Tenity. “We’re excited to support founders pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI and blockchain.”
The hybrid format is designed to balance flexibility and deep engagement. Startups will participate in virtual workshops, while two on-site immersion weeks in Singapore will offer intensive networking, feedback, and business development opportunities.
The XRP Ledger remains central to Ripple’s enterprise blockchain mission — and the Ripple accelerator program is a clear bet on its long-term utility.
By supporting early-stage ventures that build on XRPL, Ripple ensures that its ecosystem continues to grow organically with applications that address real-world problems.
From institutional DeFi solutions to AI-integrated financial services, the program aims to drive real adoption of blockchain technologies.
More importantly, it encourages regional entrepreneurs to think globally from day one — with the power of the XRP Ledger behind them.
The Ripple accelerator program is now accepting applications for its first cohort, targeting startups and corporate teams with a clear product-market fit and high-impact blockchain use cases.
Startups focused on tokenization, AI, and enterprise applications on XRPL are particularly encouraged to apply.
With strong backing, expert mentorship, and access to Ripple’s extensive investor network, the program promises to unlock a new wave of innovation.
“We’re not just funding startups — we’re empowering the builders of tomorrow’s decentralized economy,” said Fiona Murray.
The launch of the Ripple accelerator program in Singapore marks a pivotal moment for Ripple and the broader blockchain ecosystem in Asia.
By providing the capital, mentorship, and ecosystem support needed to scale, Ripple is doubling down on its belief in the XRPL’s potential to drive meaningful change.
For startups ready to build the next wave of decentralized innovation — the future begins now.
