To further authenticate the ploy, they released a manipulated five-second video where Norris seemingly declared, Hey, it’s me Dean, and January 25th, I’m declaring it’s real.
This false narrative led many to invest in the DEAN token, causing its market cap to soar to $8.4 million.
The day after the scam unfolded, Norris reclaimed his account and addressed the issue.

He clarified that he has no Telegram account and rarely uses X, underscoring his distance from the crypto space.
