Solana-powered stablecoin infrastructure is taking another major leap into mainstream business finance after fintech company Ramp introduced new Stablecoin Accounts that allow businesses to hold, manage, and send USDC and USDT for cross-border payments without relying on separate crypto wallets or exchanges.

The launch marks another significant milestone for the growing adoption of blockchain-powered financial services as enterprises increasingly seek faster, cheaper, and always-on payment solutions.

Solana-powered stablecoin services are becoming an increasingly attractive alternative to traditional banking rails, particularly for businesses operating across multiple countries. Ramp’s latest offering integrates stablecoin treasury management directly into its existing financial platform, enabling companies to make international payments from a single workflow while eliminating much of the complexity traditionally associated with digital assets.

Solana-powered stablecoin brings crypto payments into mainstream finance

According to Ramp, businesses can now create a Stablecoin Account within the company’s financial platform, allowing them to store USDC and USDT alongside traditional cash balances.

Rather than forcing finance teams to manage separate crypto wallets, exchanges, or accounting software, the platform integrates stablecoin functionality directly into existing financial operations.

The Solana-powered stablecoin solution also enables companies to fund payments using U.S. dollar bank accounts or Ramp Checking.

Funds are automatically converted into USDC or USDT before being delivered to recipients’ digital wallets through Ramp Bill Pay.

Ramp said the new capability was specifically designed to fit naturally into enterprise finance workflows.

Stablecoin balances remain visible within the same dashboard as cash accounts while continuing to follow existing approval policies and accounting integrations already used by businesses.

Eligible businesses can also earn rewards of up to 3.25% on qualifying stablecoin balances. Ramp emphasized that the balances are intended primarily for treasury management and payments rather than speculative investing.

Solana-powered stablecoin enables payments beyond banking hours

One of the biggest advantages of the Solana-powered stablecoin infrastructure is its ability to operate continuously without depending on banking schedules.

Ramp said businesses can now send USDC or USDT to vendors and contractors in more than 140 countries at any hour of the day. Companies can also convert digital assets into more than 40 local fiat currencies for international payouts.

The company revealed that more than 1,000 businesses already use stablecoins through its payment platform. Interestingly, over 70% of their payment volume occurs outside traditional banking hours, highlighting growing demand for always-available settlement infrastructure.

Pravesh Mansharamani, Chief Executive Officer of Totalis, praised the new system, saying:

“”Ramp Stablecoin Accounts have enabled us to keep our treasury on-chain. We believe that traditional banks and rails do not serve the companies of tomorrow, instant, 24/7, programmable money is the future of money.”

His comments reflect a broader trend among global enterprises that increasingly view blockchain payments as a practical improvement over legacy international wire transfers.

Solana-powered stablecoin strengthens enterprise blockchain adoption

Ramp’s announcement arrives amid accelerating institutional interest in stablecoins for cross-border settlements, treasury management, and digital dollar infrastructure.

The Solana-powered stablecoin ecosystem has steadily expanded beyond decentralized finance into enterprise-grade financial applications, with Solana positioning itself as a high-performance blockchain capable of handling global payment activity.

Earlier this month, SBI Holdings partnered with the Solana Foundation to establish SBI Solana Global, an initiative aimed at building regulated on-chain financial infrastructure across Japan.

The project intends to support yen-backed stablecoins, tokenized bonds, commercial paper, investment funds, real estate products, and institutional settlement services.

The partners also identified AI-powered payment systems and international settlement as future areas of development, reinforcing Solana’s growing role in next-generation financial infrastructure.

Enterprise adoption of Solana-powered stablecoin technology is also accelerating in South Korea.

Earlier this year, Shinhan Card announced a proof-of-concept partnership with the Solana Foundation to evaluate stablecoin payments on Solana’s testnet.

The pilot simulates real-world retail transactions between merchants and customers while testing transaction speed, blockchain infrastructure, and non-custodial wallet security.

The initiative reflects increasing interest among traditional financial institutions in hybrid payment models that combine conventional banking with decentralized finance technologies.

Solana-powered stablecoin expands into AI-powered commerce

The Solana-powered stablecoin ecosystem has also expanded into artificial intelligence.

Recently, the Solana Foundation partnered with Google Cloud to launch Pay.sh, a blockchain payment gateway allowing AI agents to purchase API services using stablecoins on Solana.

The platform supports usage-based payments for Google Cloud products such as Gemini, BigQuery, and Vertex AI, replacing conventional subscription billing with programmable blockchain transactions.

Industry observers view these developments as evidence that stablecoins are evolving beyond cryptocurrency trading into essential infrastructure for global commerce.

As Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire has repeatedly stated, “Stablecoins are becoming the internet’s native digital dollars,” underscoring the industry’s long-term vision of programmable money powering the next generation of financial services.

With Ramp’s latest launch, the Solana-powered stablecoin narrative continues gaining momentum as businesses increasingly embrace blockchain for faster settlements, lower transaction costs, and uninterrupted global payments.

As enterprise adoption expands across fintech, banking, AI, and international commerce, Solana-powered stablecoin infrastructure appears well positioned to play a central role in the future of digital business finance.
