Polymarket has signed a multi-year exclusive partnership with Major League Soccer to become the league’s official prediction market partner, allowing fans to trade on live match outcomes and key moments throughout the season.
Under the agreement, MLS named Polymarket as its exclusive prediction market partner for key league events.
The league said the collaboration will introduce new fan experiences including second screen engagement integrated into live matches and digital platforms allowing supporters to track real ime sentiment around pivotal moments.

“Innovation continues to be at the heart of our fan engagement and the league’s growth.” said Gary Stevenson, MLS Deputy Commissioner and President of Soccer United Marketing describing prediction markets as a new format for fan engagement. As part of the partnership, Polymarket will surface collective, real time sentiment around matches, key moments, and season long storylines.
According to Polymarket CEO and founder Shayne Coplan, the Polymarket mls deal offers fans a more interactive, data driven way to engage with soccer at scale.
Both MLS and Polymarket also emphasized integrity. The announcement noted that trading activity will be monitored through independent oversight to protect the integrity of MLS and Leagues Cup matches, a safeguard built directly into the Polymarket mls deal framework.
