WazirX announced Aug. 24, 2026, the launch of WazirX AI, a conversational trading assistant that lets users research markets, monitor portfolios and prepare trades from a single interface, alongside a $100,000 paper-trading sandbox for practicing the workflow risk-free.
The launch positions WazirX AI as part of a broader shift toward conversational tools in digital-asset trading, where users can interact with an AI assistant rather than navigate multiple platforms and interfaces to complete separate stages of the trading process.
“WazirX AI combines market research, portfolio monitoring and trade preparation into one conversation, reducing the time and effort required to evaluate an opportunity and act on it. The AI streamlines the workflow and enables a faster and easier decision-making process,” said Nischal Shetty, Founder, WazirX.
WazirX AI combines crypto research and trading
Integrated into the WazirX app and website, WazirX AI operates through an “Ask-Understand-Decide” model. The company said the system coordinates market data, technical analysis, portfolio information and order management when responding to multi-step requests.
The approach is designed to allow traders to move from identifying a potential market opportunity to assessing it and preparing a trading decision within the same conversation.
Users can ask WazirX AI about live cryptocurrency prices, market news and macroeconomic developments. The assistant can provide summaries and supporting charts, giving users access to market information without having to manually move between different research sources.
The system also provides portfolio briefings, including portfolio value, profit and loss figures and open positions. WazirX said users can receive daily morning updates, potentially giving traders a consolidated view of their positions before they begin making new decisions.
The integration of these functions is significant because crypto trading often requires users to combine market research, technical analysis, portfolio monitoring and order management. WazirX is attempting to bring those activities into one conversational workflow.
WazirX AI adds trade preparation and risk controls
Beyond research, WazirX AI can prepare trades directly within a conversation. Before an order is placed, the system displays an approval card, while also providing position-size recommendations based on the user’s stated risk preferences.
The platform supports both spot and futures trading. According to WazirX, users can work with market and limit orders, short positions and pair-specific leverage limits through the assistant.
The company also said users can create alerts through natural-language instructions, removing the need to navigate separate settings to establish market notifications.
More complex trading workflows can also be handled. For example, a user could ask the assistant to screen INR futures for four-hour momentum, apply a specified risk-reward threshold, validate potential opportunities across multiple timeframes and prepare a trade containing the entry price, leverage, margin, stop-loss, take-profit and estimated loss.
That workflow illustrates the central proposition behind WazirX AI: combining multiple steps that traditionally require separate research and trading tools into a single interaction.
However, the system still requires user approval before an order is placed, according to the company’s description of the product. This keeps the final execution step within the user’s control while allowing the assistant to handle much of the preparation process.
WazirX launches $100,000 paper-trading sandbox
Alongside WazirX AI, WazirX is launching a Paper Trading Sandbox that provides every user with a simulated balance of $100,000.
The sandbox is designed to allow users to test the research-to-trade workflow and experiment with strategies without committing real funds. This gives traders an opportunity to become familiar with the AI-assisted process before using the platform for live trading.
The paper-trading environment also extends the product beyond experienced traders. Newer users can experiment with different strategies and understand how market research, risk assessment and order preparation work without exposing actual capital to potential losses.
WazirX said WazirX AI uses live WazirX price data and supports real-time price updates. The AI co-pilot has been rolled out across Android, iOS and the web, while the $100,000 paper-trading sandbox is available to all users.
WazirX AI signals a conversational shift in crypto trading
The launch of WazirX AI reflects a growing effort within technology and financial platforms to make complex workflows accessible through conversational interfaces.
Rather than requiring traders to independently research market conditions, review their portfolios, assess risk and construct orders, the WazirX system is designed to coordinate those activities through a single interaction.
The product’s practical impact will ultimately depend on how accurately it handles live market information, interprets user instructions and supports trading decisions in volatile market conditions. The company, however, is positioning the tool around speed and workflow consolidation rather than simply presenting it as another source of market information.
WazirX- said earlier that crypto deposits outpaced withdrawals by up to 6x in h1 2026 as non metro users drive growth.
With its AI co-pilot and paper-trading environment, WazirX is combining automated assistance with simulated trading practice. WazirX AI therefore represents a move toward a more integrated trading experience in which research, portfolio monitoring, risk assessment and trade preparation can happen within one conversational workflow.
The company has made the service available across its Android, iOS and web platforms, marking its latest push to incorporate artificial intelligence directly into the cryptocurrency trading experience.
