MicroStrategy co-founder Michael Saylor will make his first appearance at a United Arab Emirates crypto event when he speaks at Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai this December, the exchange announced Monday.
The two-day conference, scheduled for December 3-4 at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena, will feature prominent industry figures including Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, and Binance co-founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao.
Set to take place on Dec. 3 and 4, Binance blockchain week 2025 will return to Dubai for its second year at the same venue, following a 2024 edition that hosted more than 5,000 participants.
The event aims to provide a platform for strategic discussions at a time when regulatory clarity, institutional involvement and market stability are central concerns.
While the digital asset industry often moves quickly online, Binance blockchain week has emerged as a space where long-term priorities and narratives are shaped in person. These conferences have historically influenced sector direction by bringing together policymakers, project founders, investors and ecosystem leaders on one stage.
Michael Saylor, known for his prominent role in advancing corporate Bitcoin holdings and broader institutional engagement, will be speaking at a UAE crypto event for the first time.
He will be joined by other well-known industry leaders at Binance blockchain week, highlighting the conference’s role in spotlighting emerging strategies and ideological direction across Web3 and blockchain development.
Influential voices set to shape discussions
The confirmed speaker lineup for Binance blockchain week reflects a wide spectrum of roles across blockchain development, digital finance infrastructure and regulatory engagement.
The lineup also extends to institutional and data-focused sectors, including Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik, BNB Network CEO David Namdar, Blockchain Center Abu Dhabi CEO Abdulla Al Dhaheri and Apeiron Investment Group founder Christian Angermayer. All are expected to contribute perspectives on how Binance blockchain week can help shape market shifts over the coming cycle.
In a statement regarding the event, Binance CEO Richard Teng emphasized the strategic importance of these discussions:
“We’re thrilled to welcome this esteemed group of thought leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs who have not only guided the industry but championed its growth,” — Richard Teng, CEO, Binance.
He added:
“Their collective expertise will elevate discussions and inspire the community, from professionals to everyday users, as we move into a new era for the industry.”
Beyond the stage: workshops, networking and on-site development
Unlike traditional conferences that emphasize keynote speeches, Binance blockchain week incorporates interactive workshops, technology exhibitions and direct engagement between builders and institutions.
The aim is to connect theory with application — allowing attendees to observe emerging products, pilot infrastructure tools and collaborate on shared challenges.
Speakers from Binance’s internal leadership — including co-founder Yi He, Chief Marketing Officer Rachel Conlan and Catherine Chen, head of Binance VIP & Institutional — will also contribute. Celo will participate as Title Sponsor, while Solayer and Nexpace join as Platinum+ Sponsors.
Strategic significance moving into the next market phase
As the Web3 ecosystem continues to evolve, the voices and priorities highlighted during Binance blockchain week are expected to inform the direction of institutional adoption, market-building efforts and regulatory engagement globally.
